Foundries are always torn between to recycle and not to recycle the die lube.
It’s true that the recycling process is complex, and many factors influence the decision to proceed or not.
Assessing the cost-benefit ratio is very difficult to analyze, as the data it relies on is often empirical and difficult to verify.
Companies committed to recycling continue to implement the process despite knowing there is significant room for improvement, both in terms of the equipment and the product.
The Marbo Italia srl have intervened in this regard.
Responding to very specific requests from our customers, we have invested resources in research into new emulsifiable systems that promote recycling, significantly improving the quality of the recycled emulsion.
Bio-stability and resistance to mechanical stress
In the new series of release agents, a significant contribution to improving resistance to mechanical stress, a phenomenon that often causes the emulsion to break during application to the mold, comes from the use of new emulsifier packages that promote the formation of Van der Waals Forces, making the emulsion stable during recycling.
We have also improved biostability by protecting the emulsion with next-generation additives.
Thanks to the work of our laboratories, we can now offer a recyclable product that we hope will become more popular in foundries.
